Character Break

February 27, 2013

Time it marches on.

-The Girl Scouts are awesome. If you weren’t aware. I was reminded of that fact with articles from GOOD, The Mary Sue, The Hairpin, and most recently The Independent.
-Scientists are using the New York Times archives to predict the future. That’s pretty great.
-Though the shipper in me did love the Nick and Jess kiss on New Girl I admit it did kill yet another platonic friendship as the AVClub explores.
-A little while ago The Atlantic Cities column wrote a piece on how the internet reinforces inequality in the world. It’s definetly worth a read.
-Um… there’s apparently a blonde on the cover of some new “Anne of Green Gables” books. This is unacceptable, also an inaccurate representation of the book’s actual main character.
– So someone made a dishtowel with Ryan Gosling’s face on it, he got embarrassed, and the world was given the most adorable laugh ever.
