Take Two

March 25, 2013

Time it marches on.

Another Monday another examination of some of my favorite older cultural pieces.

-Still don’t agree completely, but Anne-Marie Slaughter’s piece on the age old question of what ‘it all means’ means is even better after taking a bit of time to reflect.
-After giving both the Mindy Project and Ben And Kate time to find themselves, this piece on what makes women-driven sitcoms work is still remarkably spot-on. Relationships, Not Raunch indeed.
One of my very favorite Thought Catalog archivesMake Friends Like It’s The Sandlot Or Stand By Me.
-Remember when The White House Rickrolled someone?
-In light of recent events don’t forget that Eric Cantor’s High School yearbook quote, “I want what I want when I want it.”
-A new kind of feminism take two.
